Grandma’s Soup is a not-for-profit 501 (c)(3) (applied for) food service organization that provides meals to individuals and families affected by life-threatening illness, chronic health conditions, short term illness, food allergies and any individual or family who just wants to eat healthy. By taking a holistic approach to nutrition and healing, our mission is to create “Healthy Bodies, One Meal at a Time.”
You don’t have to be sick to enjoy our meals. Anyone can order meals. All meals are made from scratch using fresh, natural, organic products such as GOMBS (greens, onions, mushrooms, beans & berries and nuts & seeds) as part of the foundation for meal preparation to help the body naturally fight disease. Our meals are packaged in disposable recyclable containers for reheating or ready to cook purposes. Meals are prepared based on the client’s nutritional needs and are available for delivery.
Our cooking classes are designed to offer students a hands-on opportunity to learn about nutrition and its importance while exploring the world of healthy, holistic food. Each class or series of classes focuses on kitchen safety, balanced nutrition, meal preparation and cooking method & technique. Each student prepares a complete meal that includes but not limited to a salad, entrée, side dish and dessert. The cooking classes create fun, interactive family time in the kitchen and around the dinner table. Students are enthusiastic about sharing their creations with family and friends!
Good health begins with a good foundation. Holistic nutrition focuses on proper nutrition as the basis for optimum health and well being.
