Holistic nutrition provides balance by focusing on proper nutrition as the basis for optimum health and well being.
2. How can eating a holistic diet help me?
Good health begins with good foundation. Food is the foundation for life. By consuming natural, organic foods, the body can readily recognize the nutrient intake and provide the body with the necessary vitamins and minerals it needs to fight disease and maintain healthy composure. Toxins such as food additives, preservatives, dies and foreign substances won’t get stuck and clog the filtration systems of our body. Eating holistically means less disease, more energy, long life.

Grandma’s Soup provides food to individuals and families who live in the Evanston, Skokie & Wilmette communities who are in crisis due to chronic disease or life-threatening illness such as cancer. However, we give priority to clients who are medically challenged, economically disadvantaged, to those with children, to people living alone without any support and to those who don’t qualify for any other meal program such as Meals on Wheels or Meals at Home.
